An Unexpected Expansion
I should’ve seen this coming by now, but sometimes even predictability can be unpredictable. After a year of expanding into retail, our inventory has outgrown the store half of our building! As such, we’ve decided to make the auction room even more confusing, and somehow, also less (you may tire of my blended dichotomy jokes by the end of this).
Yes, the store has expanded so much that it breached the auction room, our furniture section spilling onto the auction room floor. By doing this, we’re allowing ourselves more room for antiques and shelving to store our many knickknacks. We now have sectioned off our auction zones to make it less confusing for new customers and have created the following:
The Furniture Floor
We’re currently well equipped with couches, chairs, and tables, and we simply couldn’t make such an overabundance of large furniture work within the confines of our showroom. If you’re looking for a sofa, recliner, end table, or anything of that ilk, the center of the auction room is stocked full of them.
Home Goods
Yes, our Home Goods section has finally received some much-needed attention. Crammed somewhere in the back half of the showroom, our previous attempt at a home goods section left customers (and those of us keeping it stocked) somewhat clueless as to what type of product could be found where. Now, it’s much more easily recognized, tucked away just past the entrance to the back room! Peruse our wall of goods or check out our many tables full of an array of kitchen and homewares that can help make your daily life a little easier.
Unhutched Showroom
Remember our large wall of hutches that block off the back part of the main showroom? We didn’t like them there either, so we’ve resituated the store to open up the space again! Don’t worry, all those beautiful hutches that we simply can’t sell are still around, showcasing our lovely colored glass and unique decorative items. With this layout shift, we’ve uncovered a vast amount of floorspace to bring you more antiques, furniture, and tools than we’ve ever been able to store!
Room for Improvement
As we’ve now showcased with constant expansions and remodels, we can always find new ways to benefit you as a customer to help you find what you’re looking for! Not only do we have more room to accommodate our constant influx of new inventory, but we’re still looking for better approaches to how to make your shopping experience the best possible.
